RadNet buys radiology AI maker Gleamer for up to €230M
Imaging center operator RadNet said on March 2, 2026 that it is acquiring Paris-based Gleamer for up to €230 million in cash: €215 million upfront plus €15 million in milestones. Gleamer will be folded into RadNet's DeepHealth AI unit. Gleamer has four FDA-cleared products, including BoneView for fracture detection on X-rays, CT lung nodule detection and MRI multiple sclerosis lesion detection. It is forecast to reach about $30 million in annual recurring revenue in 2026. RadNet says the deal makes DeepHealth the largest radiology clinical AI provider worldwide.
Why it's notable: Radiology AI is consolidating. Hospitals and imaging groups buying point tools for X-ray, CT and MRI may increasingly buy them from one platform owned by a large imaging provider.
